Expanding massage therapy knowledge to reduce pain.

Top Massage Expert Series is my labor of love to massage therapists and to my fellow pain sufferers. I wanted to continue this journey of learning and wellness by connecting your massage genius to my fellow pain sufferers.

My mission started when I hurt my back and my doctor told me that my injury was a soft tissue injury. She said, “All modern medicine can offer pain drugs or surgery”. I’m hoping that when you read this statement that you are shocked. I certainly was. I didn’t want to spend a day on pain drugs much less the rest of my life taking pain killers. I certainly didn’t want to have surgery, so I reached out and this wonderful massage therapy community who helped me and continues to help me care for my body, reduce my pain and heal my injuries.

Luckily, my doctor was wrong. There are more than 10,000 years of old-fashion treatments for soft tissue injuries and new developments in modern medicine are being revealed daily that treat soft tissue injury. Thousands of massage experts leverage this knowledge to treat pain and teach people to care for themselves.

My hope is to tap into this network of experts that I have been so lucky to meet, and who I am inspired by their dedication to the treatment of other’s pain. I want to promote the wealth of knowledge available, connecting that knowledge to people suffering from pain.

It’s not just me; there are so many people in pain. Some don’t even know what treatments are available to help them, many want to learn more ways to address their pain, or maybe someone has experienced live changing treatments and can share that experience and solution with us.

The purpose of Top Massage Expert Series is to reach out expanding knowledge of massage therapy treatments with the goal of reducing pain and building self care awareness. I look forward to this journey and invite you to join me.
